Lionsgate Digital Drivers 2012

Steve Beeks, co-COO and president, motion picture group

Beeks oversees Lionsgate’s home entertainment operations, including disc, worldwide TV distribution and digital media initiatives. Under his leadership, Lionsgate has established distribution deals with a range of digital platforms domestically and globally with such companies as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Microsoft Xbox, Machinima, YouTube and Facebook.

Jim Packer, president, worldwide television and digital distribution

Packer oversees all forms of TV distribution and digital distribution worldwide. He managed the launch of new theatrical VOD strategies, including the release of Margin Call day-and-date with theaters, and a limited-engagement preview window of Abduction. Packer also oversees the distribution strategy for TV shows “Mad Men,” “Weeds,” “Anger Management” and “Boss.”

Anne Parducci, EVP, marketing

Parducci oversees strategic marketing, brand management, social media and creative direction for packaged and digital media for home entertainment.

Directing digital initiatives across multiple social platforms, she recently piloted the development of the Lionsgate/
YouTube BeFit channel. 

Under her leadership Lionsgate became the first studio to launch Abduction for rent on Facebook day-and-date with its theatrical release. 

She is also responsible for managing more than 100 million fans on more than 100 Facebook movie property pages, achieving a Guinness World Record for “most comments on a single Facebook post.” 
Kajsa Vikman, SVP, marketing and GM, fitness

Vikman oversees the fitness initiatives for Lionsgate, including acquisitions, productions, marketing, branding and creative on both DVD and digital platforms. She played an integral role in the development of the Lionsgate/YouTube partnership resulting in the recent launch of the BeFit channel. The channel premiered January 2012 with catalog content and the new original program “BeFit in 90.”

Thomas Hughes, SVP, worldwide digital

Hughes is responsible for the Lionsgate’s distribution efforts on both cable/satellite TV and digital platforms. He also manages business development surrounding digital, new and emerging technologies and mobile/apps.
