FindAnyFilm.com adds UltraViolet

24 Apr, 2013 By: Chris Tribbey

U.K. video retailer FindAnyFilm.com has added UltraViolet titles to its site.

The retailer began offering UltraViolet April 19 as part of a redesign of the site, “with the aim of quickly connecting audiences with legal content services and gently nudging them on the benefits of choosing legal,” the company said.

“As UltraViolet moves to the next stage of its growth in the U.K., it’s fantastic to see services like FindAnyFilm move to highlight UltraViolet to U.K. consumers and help educate them on its benefits, including the flexibility to watch anytime/anywhere and the confidence that this portability is backed up by a widely-honored industry standard,” said Mark Teitell, GM of UltraViolet’s Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem.

FindAnyFilm offers more than 40,000 films and TV shows across all formats (disc and digital), and the new site upgrades highlight various ways consumers can watch movies both online and via disc.

“These improvements help tackle the key driving factors of piracy: availability, convenience and affordability,” the company said. “By sharing access to films in all formats instantly, whether the user wants localized cinema listings (including filters for 2D/3D/Imax and age ratings), Blu-ray, DVD, online, TV or the newly introduced UltraViolet, they can get it at the click of a button.”

Mark de Quervain, partnerships director for FindAnyFilm, added: “This latest addition means we are serving audiences with ever more choice on where they are able to access official providers — making it a destination for the industry’s audience to visit for all their film purchases.”
