'State of the Industry' to Be Discussed at 2017 LAES Knowledge Exchange

Leading entertainment analysts will share their insights on the state of the industry at the Los Angeles Entertainment Summit Knowledge Exchange from 3 to 7 p.m. July 17. The session will identify and examine industry trends from multiple angles, including consumers’ technology usage and viewing habits, emerging revenue sources, and the revenue trajectories of electronic delivery, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray Disc and DVD.

The session will be moderated by Jay Reinbold, SVP of category management at Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The panel will include Dan Cryan of IHS Markit Technology, Graham Gee of The NPD Group, Dr. Mathias Giloth of GfK Entertainment, Chris Roberts of comScore Inc., Kevin Westcott of Deloitte Consulting LLP, and Matthew Yazge of Nielsen Entertainment.

The 2017 LAES runs July 17-19 at The Loews Hollywood Hotel. The Knowledge Exchange is a targeted program focusing on content and distribution trends, the impact of artificial intelligence on entertainment consumption, and presentations from leading research companies in the home entertainment industry.

The 2017 LAES will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
