Sony's Brown Added as LAES Co-Chair

Matt Brown, EVP of worldwide commercial for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, has been added as co-chair of the Los Angeles Entertainment Summit (LAES), being held July 21-23 at the Hyatt Regency Century City.

Brown will co-chair with longtime home entertainment executive Mark Horak, with Mark Fisher, president and CEO of the Entertainment Merchants Association, and Simon Swart, EVP and GM of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, serving on the LAES steering committee.

In its third year, the two-day conference consists of business-to-business meetings between home entertainment and video game content producers and retailers. The event also includes a golf tournament, held at Trump National Golf Club, a cocktail party and a casino night (this year at the Sony Pictures studio lot).

Proceeds from the event benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
