LAES Adds New Co-Chairs15 Apr, 2014 By: Chris Tribbey
Jack Talley, EVP of North American sales for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, and Andrew Brown, SVP of sales for the Americas for Activision Blizzard, have been added as co-chairs of the 2014 Los Angeles Entertainment Summit (LAES).
They join Redbox president Mark Horak as chairs of the third annual conference, being held July 21-23 at the Hyatt Regency Century City in Los Angeles. Talley replaces Matt Brown, who recently retired as EVP of worldwide commercial for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Mark Fisher, president and CEO of the Entertainment Merchants Association, and Simon Swart, EVP and GM of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, are serving on the LAES steering committee.
The two-day conference consists of business-to-business meetings between home entertainment and video game content producers and retailers. The event includes a golf tournament, held at Trump National Golf Club, a cocktail party and a casino night, this year at the Sony Pictures studio lot.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
