2017 LAES to Be Held at Loews Hollywood Hotel

7 Feb, 2017 By: Stephanie Prange

The 2017 Los Angeles Entertainment Summit will be held at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles July 17-19, the Entertainment Merchants Association announced.

“Ultimately the Summit is about providing a forum for the industry to come together for productive business discussions and high-quality networking, and the convenient location and efficient layout of the Loews provides a great venue for that,” stated Mark Fisher, Entertainment Merchants Association president and CEO.

LAES, now in its sixth year, is a meeting forum for movie and TV distributors, video game publishers, retailers, distributors, and other ancillary companies and service providers.

The 2017 LAES will consist of two days of business-to-business meetings between home entertainment and video game content providers and retailers, the EMA announced. In addition, the summit will include the Knowledge Exchange and the new Marketplace, which provide industry insights and home entertainment product demonstrations.

LAES will also feature networking opportunities at the golf tournament, the opening night cocktail reception, and the Tuesday night industry celebration at a new location to be announced later, the EMA announced.

Last year, more than 1,000 industry leaders from more than 100 companies participated in the event, and many of them have already committed to participate in the 2017 Summit, the EMA announced.

The 2017 summit will again benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
