2006 series "Jericho"

CBS Interactive July 23 began offering all episodes of former primetime dramas “Jericho,” “Swingtown” and “Wolf Lake for streaming at CBS.com/second-look.

The free, ad-supported programs do not require registration.

With the exception of “Jericho,” the other serials are not available for streaming at subscription video-on-demand services. They are all available as complete seasons on disc.

The programs highlight CBS’ upped strategy of monetizing off-the-air episodic programming across multiple distribution channels, including syndication and digital.

“Over the years, fans have told us they’d like to experience these shows again, and through CBS.com, we’re able to resurface programming that not only captivated viewers but broke new ground,” Jeff Grossman, VP of content and product strategy for CBS Interactive, said in a statement.

“Jericho,” about a small town in Kansas that is literally left in the dark after seeing a mushroom cloud over nearby Denver, is available on Netflix and Amazon Prime Instant Video.

The 2006 series, which stars Skeet Ulrich, underscored the push toward survivalist dramas on TV such as “Lost,” “V” and the recent “Under the Dome.” It is also offered on Amazon Instant Video for $1.99 per episode.

“Swingtown” (2008) takes place in 1976 as two generations of friends and neighbors in a Chicago suburb explore new freedoms and seek connections with each other in the midst of the socio-sexual revolution.

“Wolf Lake” (2001) — set in the Pacific Northwest — is a thriller that explores what happens when werewolves overtake a small Seattle suburb. It stars Lou Diamond Philips, among others.
