Roughly 100 Adult Swim episodes will be available in a DVD manufacturing-on-demand (MOD) program starting Nov. 16, Cartoon Network Enterprises said. The goal is to add every episode of Adult Swim original programming by the end of the year, according to Cartoon Network Enterprises SVP Christina Miller.

“Call me optimistic, but I don’t look at this as a challenge, but as an amazing opportunity for our fans,” she said. “We’re getting out of the gate quickly, and our program is unique in that it allows our fans to do more [than other MOD programs].”

For $20, visitors to AdultSwimShop.com can fill up a 110-minute DVD with episodes from “Aqua Teen Hunger Force,” “Robot Chicken,” “The Drinky Crow Show,” “Lucy, Daughter of the Devil,” “Sealab 2021,” “Tim & Eric Awesome Show” and “Great Job!” and have that DVD shipped to them within two days.

Consumers can choose artwork for the DVD case, disc face and menus, and name the DVD.

Miller said Cartoon Network might eventually give consumers the option to add bonus features to their Adult Swim MOD DVDs.

“As soon as everything is up and running, we’ll look at those possibilities,” she said.
