To help customers celebrate the Fourth of July, Verizon FiOS is offering a special Independence Day collection of films over the long weekend.

Through July 6, six films can be found in a special folder within the VOD section of the FiOS TV Interactive Media Guide.

The films are The American President, Apollo 13, Independence Day, Air Force One, National Treasure and The Patriot, and they are available for as little as $2.99.

Customers will also be able to watch July 4 fireworks on TV in HD.

FiOS TV’s Video on Demand has a library of more than 15,000 titles per month, 70% of which are free. Choices include popular films, concerts, exercise videos and children’s programs. The service also features more than 1,400 HD titles per month, and nearly 75% of those are free.
