Paramount Home Entertainment and CBS DVD will release Star Trek: The Original Series — Season Two on Blu-ray Sept. 22 (prebook Aug. 11) at $116.99. The seven-disc set includes all 26 episodes from the 1967-68 season, with both the original broadcast version and a remastered version with new special effects. Viewers can toggle between both versions as they watch an episode.

The announcement confirms information that had been widely reported online at sites such as TheDigitalBits.com.
