‘Terminator: Salvation’ Director’s Cut on Blu-ray Only

9 Sep, 2009 By: John Latchem

Warner Home Video is bringing Terminator: Salvation to DVD and Blu-ray Dec. 1, but only the Blu-ray version will contain the director’s cut of the fourth “Terminator” film.

The $28.98 single-DVD version of the film will include the ‘PG-13’ theatrical cut and a digital copy.

The $35.99 two-disc Blu-ray edition will include both the theatrical cut and an ‘R’-rated director’s cut that runs three minutes longer, and also includes a digital copy. The Blu-ray also will include Maximum Movie Mode, a picture-in-picture examination of the film hosted by director McG, as well as the featurettes “The Moto-Terminator,” about turning Ducati bikes into Terminators; and “Reforging the Future,” about how filmmakers reinvented the franchise.

Order date for Terminator: Salvation is Oct. 13.
