Barnes & Noble Inc. through Oct. 28 is cutting 50% off the list price on select DVD and Blu-ray Disc movies, boxed sets and TV shows.

The Lyndhurst, N.J.-based book retailer said the price cuts apply to titles purchased in retail stores and online at Barnes&Noble.com. Genres include action, sci-fi, horror, suspense, comedy, romance, dramas, documentaries, classics and children’s fare.

Blu-ray titles include Hoosiers, The Universe Season 1, Dogma, Hart’s War, Out of Time, Revenge, Terminator 3, Rent, Swordfish, XXX, No Way Back and A Knight’s Tale, among others.
