Digiboo Launches Apple App

5 Feb, 2013 By: Chris Tribbey

Digiboo, which offers kiosk-based digital movie and TV rentals via USB drives, has launched an application for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

The app, available for free via the iTunes store, allows users to rent or purchase content from a Digiboo kiosk and download it directly to Apple devices. Digiboo was previously compatible with Android and Windows devices.

“Our new app for Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is a major addition to Digiboo’s multiplatform service,” said company CEO Richard Cohen. “It more than doubles our potential user base and most importantly, fulfills our promise to our customers to provide the best experience for those who want access to movies and TV to watch on the device of their choice.”

Santa Monica, Calif.-based Digiboo offers more than 800 movie and TV titles from Warner, Paramount, Sony Pictures, Lionsgate and Anchor Bay. Digiboo kiosks can be found at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, Seattle-Tacoma International and Portland International Airport.
