Vivendi Entertainment will release the modern-day film adaptation of the Jack London children’s classic Call of the Wild 3D on DVD with two pairs of glasses included Dec. 22 (prebook Nov. 24) at $19.99. The film is Vivendi’s first 3D release.
The story follows a girl who rescues an injured wolf. Bonus features include a “Call of the Wild” game, a behind-the-scenes featurette, deleted scenes and a commentary. The DVD has both 2D and 3D versions of the film.
The film features veterans Christopher Lloyd (“Taxi,” Back to the Future), Jaleel White (“Family Matters”), Joyce DeWitt (“Three’s Company”), Veronica Cartwright (“The X-Files”) and Timothy Bottoms (The Last Picture Show) alongside up-and-comers Ariel Gade, Wes Studi (from the upcoming Avatar), Aimee Teegarden, Devon Graye and Kameron Knox.
