Sensio Upbeat Despite Loses

29 Apr, 2009 By: Chris Tribbey

The 3-D specialist Sensio reported a fiscal third-quarter operating loss of more than $660,000 April 29, compared to a loss of more than $618,000 during the same three-month period a year ago (ended Feb. 28).

Despite the losses, the Montreal-based company is touting that it had its 3-D technology adopted as a DVD standard, broadcast live 3-D sporting events, and raised nearly $1.8 million in exchange for more than 6.1 million shares in the company.

“We now have major assets in hand that will assist us in firming up our marketing efforts and generating revenues in the consumer market,” said Sensio president and CEO Nicholas Routhier.
