Comcast Ships 3-D Glasses for ‘My Bloody Valentine’ VOD

Comcast Communications shipped 1,000 pairs of special polarized glasses to its payment centers and nationwide mall locations and kiosks for the June 16 release of Lionsgate’s My Bloody Valentine 3-D on video-on-demand (VOD) in high-definition.

The Philadelphia-based No. 1 cable operator is offering the horror movie on demand through Oct. 31 for $5.99 for a 48-hour viewing window.

Special two-disc DVD and Blu-ray releases of the $50 million box office film streeted May 19 for $34.98 and $39.99, respectively.
